The National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants (NSCHBC), a professional association, is comprised of experienced management consultants who provide confidential and professional advice and business management services to the health care industry.
The statistical data we receive on medical and dental practices generated through the annual NSCHBC surveys and our own surveys allow us to compare our clients’ income and expenses with other practices of the same specialty and geographical region or on a national basis. For dentists and doctors in Raleigh, Cary, Durham and Chapel Hill, we provide our clients with financial peace of mind.
Through the NSCHBC organizational network, we can more effectively serve dental and medical practices, as we access from fellow members nationwide helpful ideas and information on a wide range of health care and business management issues, and have a voice in national health care policy through the NSCHBC office in Washington, D.C.
Established in 1993, NSCHBC is comprised of several former professional associations, including the Society of Professional Business consultants and the Institute of Certified Professional Business Consultants. Over the years, several members of our firm have served on the board and as president of these organizations.
Our practice management consultants are members of The Institute of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants (ICHBC), an organization established in 1975 to set standards of qualifications and ethics for practice management and financial planning for firms concentrating in serving the needs of medical and dental professionals. This organization establishes, monitors, tests, and recognizes the standards of knowledge and performance that healthcare practitioners should be able to expect from the specialized consultants who advise them on practice management and financial planning.
The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) began as a small network of clinic managers in 1926. Today, MGMA’s membership includes administrators, CEOs, and many other management professionals. MGMA is the nation’s principal voice for medical group practice. This organization leads the profession and assists members through information, networking, and many other facets. Its purpose is to improve the performance of medical group professionals and the organizations they represent.
