Annual Comparative Surveys

Professional Management provides internal and external practice management surveys on an annual basis.  These annual surveys allow dental and medical practices to statistically compare your practice to those of your peers, both locally in Raleigh, Cary, Durham and Chapel Hill, and nationally.  Our practice management firm highly values client and financial data confidentiality.    Submission of this data and presentation of these surveys, in no way, violates our confidentiality agreement with our doctors and dentists.  These surveys are always presented as an aggregate of all the data collected.

Practice Statistic Report of Income and Expenses

Our firm submits key cost and revenue components from our clients’ year –end financial statements to our national organization, The National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants.  This information becomes integrated into a large national survey.  This survey provides key statistical benchmarks on a local and national level, such as overhead percentage, expense ratios, and average monthly charges in accounts receivable.  We use the results of this survey as a management tool; it evaluates the current financial status of your practice, as well as identifying areas in need of improvement, as compared to other similar practices in cities of your size.

Salary and Benefit Survey

Our firm gathers employee data from our clients to create a unique “localized” survey dealing with employee salary and benefits by job title and years of experience.  This survey enables our clients in Raleigh, Durham, Cary and Chapel Hill, to fully realize the local market value of their staff.  This survey is used as a tool to assist our doctors and dentists in ongoing efforts to attract and retain employees.

General Dentist Fee Survey

Professional Management compiles an annual fee survey for general dentists.  This survey assists general dentists in our area by comparing the fees charged for each dental procedure.  This survey is a tool used to assist our general dental clients in setting fees for services.
